Karnivool will be one of the headliners of the next edition of Be Prog! My Friend, which will take place on September 24 and 25, 2027 at La Carpa del Poble Espanyol in Barcelona.

The Australian band will perform in Spain for the first time, headlining a new edition of the festival in a highly anticipated appearance following the release of 'In Verses', their fourth studio album and Karnivool's first release in more than a decade.

With 'In Verses', Karnivool open a new chapter in a career defined by a highly personal and complex approach to progressive rock. The album brings together ten songs shaped by years of musical evolution and personal experiences, marking a new meeting point between the identity that has defined the band and a completely renewed creative phase.

Recorded alongside their long-time collaborator and producer Forrester Savell, the creation of 'In Verses' spanned several years until the band began working on the final recording in early 2025. The result is an album that reflects both the difficulties of the creative process itself and Karnivool's need to break down their own barriers and explore new territories.

The release of 'In Verses' has also confirmed the huge anticipation that Karnivool continue to generate among their fans. Their supporting tour has seen the band sell out some of their biggest shows to date, including iconic venues such as London's Roundhouse and Sydney's Hordern Pavilion.
