Hippotraktor will visit Spain for three shows in Barcelona, Madrid and Portugalete. Hailing from Mechelen, Belgium, Hippotraktor burst onto the progressive metal scene with 'Meridian' (2021), a debut defined by a powerful sound and intricate rhythmic complexity that quickly put the band on the international radar. Their compositions combine crushing riffs, progressive structures and technical precision, with a strong influence from bands such as Gojira and Meshuggah.

In June 2024, they released 'Stasis', their second album, through Pelagic Records. The record cemented Hippotraktor's identity with an approach that combines crushing riffs, cathartic passages and the distinctive vocal contrast between Stefan De Graef and Sander De Rom.

Now, Hippotraktor continue this evolution with 'Annihilist', their most ambitious studio work to date and the first recorded with their current line-up. The album once again demonstrates the band's ability to take their distinctive combination of progressive metal, sheer power and rhythmic complexity one step further.

Joining them as special guests will be Cobra The Impaler, also from Belgium. After making their mark with 'Colossal Gods', the band consolidated their sound with 'Karma Collision', a record that combines the power of modern metal with the strength and spirit of classic heavy metal.

The tour will stop in Barcelona on May 5th at Razzmatazz 3, Madrid on May 6th at Rockville, and Portugalete on May 7th at Groove.
