British progressive rock band The Pineapple Thief will visit Spain in March 2027 for three concerts lasting more than two hours: March 12th at Apolo (Barcelona), March 13th at Teatro Eslava (Madrid), and March 17th at Santana 27 (Bilbao).

These concerts will be part of the extensive European and UK tour that The Pineapple Thief will embark on in 2027 in support of their upcoming album, 'Far and Wide', set for release on October 9th, 2026. The new record will mark the next step in the career of a band that has spent more than two decades exploring the possibilities of progressive rock from a deeply emotional and atmospheric perspective.

The band explain: “We’re very excited to get back on the road for this extensive UK and European tour in 2027. Playing live is at the heart of what we do and, while writing and recording 'Far and Wide', we constantly had the stage and the energy of the audience in mind. We can’t wait to bring these new songs to life and share them with everyone in these incredible venues.”

Led by songwriter, vocalist and producer Bruce Soord, The Pineapple Thief have spent more than two decades building a distinctive sound in which progressive rock, emotional sensitivity and deeply immersive atmospheres come together. A musical identity that has allowed them to establish themselves as one of the most recognised bands on the contemporary progressive scene.

The addition of drummer Gavin Harrison, known for his work with Porcupine Tree and King Crimson, opened a new creative chapter for the band, who have since released some of their most celebrated works, including 'Your Wilderness', 'Dissolution', 'Versions of the Truth' and 'It Leads to This'.

Now, The Pineapple Thief continue to move forward with 'Far and Wide', a new album in which they once again explore the contrasts that have defined their career: the intimacy and emotion of their compositions set against an expansive, immersive and richly nuanced sound. More than twenty years after their formation, The Pineapple Thief remain a band in constant evolution, capable of expanding their horizons without losing the essence that has accompanied them throughout their career.
