German band Wucan will join Anciients on their Spanish tour this October, appearing at both the Barcelona and Madrid dates and completing a perfect bill for fans of progressive and psychedelic rock and metal.

Led by the charismatic Francis Tobolsky, Wucan have forged a truly distinctive identity within contemporary hard rock through a sound that blends acid rock, psychedelic folk, blues and '70s-inspired heavy rock under their trademark "Heavy Flute Rock" banner. It is a formula as original as it is electrifying, driven by hypnotic riffs, progressive song structures and the unmistakable prominence of the flute.

Joining them are Anciients, winners of a JUNO Award in 2016 and a band that has established itself over the years through its unique ability to combine the aggression of sludge and extreme metal with progressive structures, psychedelic passages and a remarkable melodic sensibility. Their sound, equally heavy and atmospheric, has earned them cult status within the international scene.

The Wucan and Anciients tour will arrive at Razzmatazz 3 in Barcelona on October 13 and Rockville in Madrid on October 14.
