German band Wucan will join Anciients on their Spanish tour for their two concerts next October in Barcelona and Madrid, creating a perfect combination for fans of progressive and psychedelic rock and metal.

Led by the charismatic Francis Tobolsky, Wucan have built a completely distinctive identity within contemporary hard rock thanks to a sound that brings together acid rock, psychedelic folk, blues and ’70s heavy rock under their now-signature “Heavy Flute Rock” label. A formula that is as original as it is electrifying, driven by hypnotic riffs, progressive structures and the unmistakable prominence of the flute.

Alongside them, Anciients, winners of a JUNO Award in 2016, have established themselves over the years as a band capable of combining the aggression of sludge and extreme metal with progressive structures, psychedelic passages and a remarkable melodic sensitivity. Their sound, equally heavy and atmospheric, has turned the band into a cult name on the international scene.

The Wucan and Anciients tour will arrive on October 13th at Razzmatazz 3 in Barcelona and on October 14th at Rockville in Madrid. Tickets on sale at madnesslive.es.
