Unstoppable rock icon Michael Monroe returns to our stages for a very special show this autumn, alongside his highly anticipated appearance as one of the major names at Rock The Sun 2026 in Barcelona. The show will take place on October 29 at Revi Live in Madrid.

From his early days playing saxophone in various Finnish bands to co-founding Hanoi Rocks in 1980, Monroe has been a glam rock pioneer with roots in punk and garage rock, directly influencing the subsequent sleaze and hard rock explosion in Los Angeles. His style, attitude and sound paved the way for an entire generation of bands.

Following the breakup of Hanoi Rocks, he launched his solo career in 1987 with ‘Nights Are So Long’, quickly cementing his status with ‘Not Fakin’ It’, an album that opened the doors to the American market. Over the past few decades, Monroe has enjoyed a creative renaissance with releases such as ‘Sensory Overdrive’, which received accolades in Finland, and ‘Blackout States’, maintaining his energy and credibility throughout. His most recent release, ‘I Live Too Fast to Die Young!’ (2022), is further proof of his ability to keep delivering anthems.
