The acclaimed Japanese composer and keyboardist Yasuharu Takanashi, internationally recognized for his work on iconic anime soundtracks such as Naruto Shippuden and Fairy Tail, will arrive in Spain in October 2026 with his project Far East Groove. Formed in 2024, the group was born from the ambition to unite two seemingly distant worlds—anime soundtracks and heavy metal—to create a unique musical concept: “the bridge between Anime Soundtrack and Heavy Metal”.

Far East Groove features a lineup of top‑tier international musicians, including Juno, Nozomu Wakai (Sigh), Jesper Anastasiadis (Turisas), Tuomas Rounakari (ex‑Korpiklaani), and Tino Jäntti (Wolfheart). Following a notable 2025 European tour through Finland, Spain, and Italy, and their successful performance at Rock Imperium Festival 2025—where Takanashi became the first Japanese soundtrack composer to appear on the main stage of a major European rock festival—the band continues to consolidate itself as an innovative force within contemporary metal.

In October 2026, Far East Groove will return to Spain with two unmissable dates: October 13 at Sala Wolf in Barcelona and October 14 at Revi Live in Madrid. These concerts reinforce their commitment to remaining active as a long‑term heavy metal band, with plans to continue touring, perform at major festivals, and develop original material.
