On November 7th, Barcelona’s Razzmatazz 3 will host the concert of Master Boot Record and Fulci, two prominent names in today’s experimental metal scene. The night will also feature Arottenbit as a guest band.

Master Boot Record, the project of Italian producer Vittorio D’Amore, has established itself as one of the most original proposals within the fusion of metal and electronic music. Since its emergence in 2016, its distinctive “computer metal” combines heavy metal riffs with electronic synthesis, chiptune inspired by classic video games, and references to retro computer culture.

Their latest work, 'Hardwarez', continues to explore the duality between technology and humanity. In this album, D’Amore strengthens his sound with real guitars added to his signature synthetic guitars, amplifying the power of a proposal that also stands out for its staging, where visuals, modern technology, and classic computers such as the Commodore 64 or Amiga 500 coexist.

Fulci, for their part, represent one of the most forceful proposals in current death metal. Formed in 2014, the band pays tribute to Italian horror master Lucio Fulci, dedicating each of their works to one of his films.

Musically, they combine the brutality of New York and Tampa school death metal with elements of gore metal and slam, as well as influences from soundtrack composers like Fabio Frizzi or John Carpenter. Their live shows reinforce this connection with a very defined atmosphere that turns each performance into an immersive experience.

The evening will also include the presence of Arottenbit as a guest band, completing a night that will bring together different ways of understanding contemporary metal on stage.
